How To Move From Just Existing to Personal Abundance! Why does only 5 percent of the population attain phenomenal success while many others lead lives of quiet desperation? Is it luck? Genes? Age? Environment? Nope. Most people dream of success but, as they grow older, settle into believing that life got in the way, that their unfulfilled dreams and unachieved goals were simply not meant to be. Not true. It is a matter of choice and of persistence, coupled with dogged determination in the face of obstacles, setbacks and failures. Success, when you've scaled the mountain and really earned it, is so much sweeter. And wishing for success and committing yourself to it are two very different things. So, are you a Wisher or a Washer, or just plain Wishy-Washy?

The "W" Characters: How to Get What You Want AND Make a Difference in the World
Enrique Ruiz
$9.95
|
Children understand far more than most adults give them credit for. As a society, we teach children how to do things and the difference between right and wrong. We answer their questions (as much as possible) about what and why things are. But children are also capable of understanding much deeper life principles - like the importance of building character, how to make decisions, the consequences of relying on others to make their dreams come true and the value of their word. In this story of a group of children who gather for an overnight camping trip that changes their young lives, The "W" Characters gets these messages across in a fun, easy-to-read presentation that they'll want to read again and again.

My life is peppered with disappointments, joys, successes and failures like so many...
- Discrimination
- Survival
- Homelessness
- Job loss
- Uncomfortable work conditions
- Financial distress
- Separation & Divorce
- and..
many other tribulations of life are baked into my persona.
The conscious choice I made with these challenges has given me a unique strength helping to further mold my character, my demeanor and my attitude for the better.
My toughest ordeal was the loss of my own daughter, Sasha Crystal Ruiz... who died in a car accident on May 4, 2006 at 18 years, + 6 days of age. Precious daughter, loving sister, God's gift.
My princess Sasha is interwoven into our lives forever and her soul will remain in our hearts evermore.
Love, Papi
See a memory of Sasha when she was 3.
Sasha was an organ donor. Several months after her death we received a letter thanking us for the gift of sight. A bittersweet fact that bears truth that both in body and spirit she continues to make a difference.
The car she was driving (what is left)
You never know what someone is going through, or has gone through, until you have walked in their shoes. Every person deserves respect and admiration for they too have weathered storms, and conquered!
A Positive Attitude is within your personal control. Even when life is dealing you lemons... you always have control of your mind! What difference will your difference make in someone's life? After all, that is why we are here on planet earth. Every job we have, whether it be being a Father, a Mother, a leader, a laborer, a farmer, a teacher... we are doing something for more people than ourselves.
A Child Loaned
I'll lend you for a little while a child of mine, he said,
For you to love the while he lives and mourn when he's dead,
It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three, but will you
Till I call him back, take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief,
I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return, but
There are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide-world over in my search for teachers true
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor pain,
Nor hate me when I call, to take him back again?
I fancied that I heard them say, 'Dear Lord, Thy will be Done'
for all the joy thy child will bring, the risk of grief we'll run
we'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may,
and for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay,
but should the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned,
we'll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand.
